This Curly Spider Plant variety is a modern version of the traditional Spider Plant with a curvy twist. It is much more compact in size and, in our opinion, a little more designer for your collection. Chlorophytum comosum Bonnie has similar variegation to ‘Vittatum’ but with wonderfully curly leaves and yellow flowers rather than white.

Bad hair day! Watering from the soil level and not from above will prevent water getting trapped and those curls falling off or rotting.
Share the love! Baby Spiders can be pressed down into compost and left to self-root, giving you a second plant to pass on to friends and family.
Some brown tips may occur, these can be trimmed away if preferred, but avoid cutting into the green part of the foliage as this will only create more brown further up the leaf.
Light
Chlorophytum require bright, indirect light. While it will tolerate some shade; this will slow its growth-rate and it may lose its stripes. Avoid direct sunlight.
Watering
Keep your Spider Plant well-watered, aiming for lightly moist soil throughout the growing season. Less water is needed in the winter.
Temperature
Thrives in normal room temperatures (above 16°C). Spider Plants are reasonably hardy and should survive temperatures above 8°C in winter if the soil is kept fairly dry.
Humidity
Spider Plants can tolerate drier air, but prefer rooms with higher humidity. Brown tips may indicate your plant is too dry. Consider giving it an occasional misting.
Feed
Feed with a weak solution every few weeks during the growing season. Do not feed during the winter.

The Curly Spider Plant is fast growing, and usually reaches an ultimate height of around 20cm.
Toxicity
Chlorophytum are non-toxic plants, therefore safe around small children and pets.
