A patterned plant that is a popular choice for those who love fancy foliage. Flashes of white variegation streaks the middle of each vivid green elongated leaf, fading out to a pale-yellow irregular dappling.
This marbled marvel is a perfect option for anyone looking for a smaller decorative plant and would look striking displayed on table tops, sideboards and desks.

Horty Hints
Spring Cleaning! Wipe the leaves with a damp cloth to remove accumulated dust or just pop it in the bathroom for a while.
You Grow Girl! If your plant has a growth spurt and gets too tall, simply cut it back by removing the top of the plant.
Little and often! These plants are sensitive to overwatering, if you notice drooping and yellowing leaves, hold off on the watering for a while.
Light
Dieffenbachia enjoy bright, indirect light but can tolerate light shade. Lower light levels reduce the rate of growth and dull the leaf variegation. Direct sunlight will scorch the leaves.
Watering
The soil should be lightly moist at all times, but not soggy. Water when the top of the soil starts to dry out.
Temperature
Prefers warm to higher temperatures, ideally between 18-24°C but can cope with as low as 10°C for short periods. Avoid draughts.
Humidity
Normal to increased humidity levels work best. Dieffenbachia will relish the occasional misting and the use of a pebble tray.
Feed
Apply a weak dose of a fertiliser about once a month during the growing season.
