Off on your holibobs? No probs! the D Tiga is drought tolerant and is more than happy being left to its own devices making it the ideal houseplant for the keen traveller.
Make it rain! Once D Tiga’s soil has dried out and it’s time to water again, make sure to thoroughly drench the soil, allowing any excess water to drain through the bottom.
HOT HOT HOT! Direct sunlight will scorch your Gasteria’s leaves and lead to discolouration. Plenty of indirect sun is the way forwards.
Light
Thrives in bright, indirect light. Direct sunlight can lead to scorching and discolouration.
Watering
Allow the soil to dry out completely before watering. Water thoroughly and allow to drain freely. Water directly into soil to avoid fungal infections.
Temperature
This Gasteria is happy in places with temperatures between 18°C and 24°C and can cope in as low as 5°C for short periods.
Humidity
The D Tiga will thrive in average household humidity. Mist and wipe occasionally to deter dust build-up.
