Philodendron Green Wonder Care & Info Guide
Horty Hints
Listen to the leaves! This plant will tell you when it is receiving too much or too little water. Too much and the leaves will yellow and drop, too little and they will brown and shrivel.
Finished with the fading? This plant likes lots of bright indirect sunlight to grow and maintain its colouring. If you notice its leaves starting to dull, move to a brighter location.
Occasional wiping of leaves with a damp cloth to remove dust will keep your plant looking fresh and feeling fine.
Light
This Philodendron is happy in a shaded area but best in bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight as this will scorch the leaves, taking a long time to recover.
Watering
Water little and often, keeping the soil moist at all times during the growing period. During the winter, the top of the soil can dry-out between waterings. Drought tolerant.
Temperature
Philodendron Green Wonder prefers average to warm household temperatures from 18-28°C and can handle as low as 12°C for short periods. Avoid cold draughts.
Humidity
The Green Wonder will do fine in normal home humidity, but thrives in more humid environments. Consider misting occasionally for best results.
Feed
Apply a weak solution of liquid fertiliser once a month during the growing season. Do not feed during the winter.
Height & Growth Rate
This Philodendron is a fast-grower and typically reaches an ultimate height of 1 to 2.5 metres. Requires a space with height and breadth.
Toxicity
These plants are poisonous. Keep away from children and pets and take care when handling.

Philodendron filter airborne toxins such as formaldehyde and trichloroethylene from the atmosphere and are part of our clean air plant collection.
