Spathiphyllum Bellini – Peace Lily Care & Info Guide
Horty Hints
To repot or not? Peace Lilies like to be a bit more pot bound and crowded, however if you need to water more than once per week due to wilting, it’s time for a repot.
Ditch the droop! Peace Lilies will tell you when they are thirsty, the leaves will dramatically droop. If you notice this, the best remedy is to sit the plant in a basin of water for 20 mins.
Flowers are relatively short-lived. They will turn brown and die-off naturally. Remove from the base of the stems as necessary.
Light
Peace Lilies thrive in locations with moderate to bright, indirect light conditions, however they have been known to adapt well to lower light levels.
Watering
Keep the soil moist at all times. Allow the top of the soil to dry-out slightly before watering. The plant will start to droop if it needs more water. Ensure adequate drainage.
Temperature
The Bellini prefers average household temperatures: between 18-24°C but can tolerate temperatures as low as 12°C in winter.
